Abstract
The near-infrared emission spectra of the X(2) (2) Pi(1/2) --> X(1) (2 ) Pi(3/2) fine-structure transitions of (TeF)-Te-130 and (TeCl)-Te-130 -Cl-35 have been investigated by high-resolution Fourier-transform spe ctrometry. The radicals were generated and excited in a fast-flow syst em by reaction of TeH/TeH2 with F-2 or Cl-2. Analyses of the spectra h ave yielded the first accurate molecular constants for the (2) Pi(i), upsilon=0 ground state of both molecules. (C) 1995 Academic Press, Inc .
