Abstract
Foreign gas effects were measured for the rovibrational lines of NH3 i n the upsilon(2) band with O-2, N-2, and air as perturbers, using a hi gh-resolution FTIR spectrometer. The observed line profiles were analy zed by the Voigt-type line profile function, and the Lorentzian broade ning coefficients have been determined precisely for 176 lines. The ob served air broadenings were in very good agreement with the concentrat ion-weighted average of the N-2- and O-2-broadening coefficients. (C) 1995 Academic Press, Inc.
