Abstract
The gravitational field of cosmic vacuum strings and domain walls in t he context of Brans-Dicke theory of gravity are investigated. Using th e weak field approximation, the solutions which describe the space-tim e and the scalar held generated by these topological structures are fo und, the results are compared with the ones obtained in General Relati vity.
