Abstract
The electrochemical behavior of ion complex films consisting of poly(b utyleneviologen) and an anionic amphiphile was studied in NaClO4 aqueo us solutions using a quartz crystal resonator, The behavior as well as the visible spectrum of the reduced film changed largely at a NaClO4 concentration range between 0.05 and 0.1 M, indicating that the film s tructure changed. The microstructures of the reduced and oxidized film s at low and high concentration regions were discussed.
