Abstract
The title compound, catena-poly [dimethylcadmium-mu- 1,4-diazabicyclo[ 2.2.2]octane], [Cd(CH3)(2)(C6H12N2)], was synthesized and the crystal structure determined by X-ray diffraction methods. The complex was fou nd to be a 1:1 linear polymer with four coordinated Cd atoms per unit cell. The Cd atom has distorted tetrahedral coordination.
