Abstract
In the centrosymmetric title compound, octabutyl- 1 kappa(2)C,2 kappa( 2)C,4 kappa(2)C, trakis[mu-(N,N-diethylthiocarbamoylthio)acetato]-1 :2 kappa(2)O,O';2:3 kappa(2)O;3:4 kappa(2)O,O';- 1:4 kappa(2)O-bis-mu(3) -oxo-1:2:3 kappa(3)O;1:3:4 kappa(3)O-tetratin, [Sn4O2(C7H12NO2S2)(4)(C 4H9)(8)], one Sn atom is five-coordinate having cis-C2SnO3 trigonal bi pyramidal geometry, whereas the other is six-coordinate having C2SnO4 skew-trapezoidal bipyramidal geometry with apical disposition of the b utyl groups.
