Dislocations and vortex structure were observed in thin BSCCO single c
rystals by the method of transmission electron microscopy. The vortex
structure was visualized by a high-resolution technique of decoration
with very small ferromagnetic particles. Individual dislocations orien
ted perpendicular to the vortices do not destroy the long-range order
in the vortex lattice. A weak attractive interaction between the dislo
cations and vortices, which does not depend on the type of dislocation
