Abstract
New triazine-stilbene fluorescent brighteners containing an acrylamide group have been synthesized. Their absorption and fluorescence charac teristics in aqueous solution were investigated and their fluorescence quantum yields (0.24-0.36) estimated. The compounds gave a high degre e of whiteness on polyamide-6.
