Abstract
A novel multivariate linear regression, based on the ordered orthogona lized connectivity basis and dominant descriptor analysis, is applied to several physicochemical properties of alpha-amino acids. Our result s compare favourably with those based on the non-orthogonalized connec tivity basis by Pogliani.(1,2)
