Abstract
A range of plant products was tested for efficacy in protecting stored groundnuts against the ride moth, Corcyra cephalonica Stainton. They were evaluated on the basis of per cent dry matte, loss, per cent dama ged kernels and pods, and the number of adults emerging from samples i nfested with larvae or eruposed to oviposition. All the plant products and edible oils afforded some protection, However, nochi leaf powder, neem leaf powder and neem oil were most effective followed by neem ke rnel powder.
