Abstract
A novel heptadecanuclear iron complex [Fe17O15(OH)(6)(ChP)(12)(phen)(8 )(OMe)(3)](r) is synthesised and structurally characterised (chp = the anion of 6-chloro-2-hydroxypyridine, phen 1,10-phenanthroline).
