The hearth of the temple of Isis of Belo (Bolonia, Andalusia), dated f
rom the Irst century A.D., gave 363 bony rests weighing 268 grams. 272
fragments (199 g.) were determined, among which 1 (3 g.) belonged to
Bos taurus, 268 (197 g.) to Gallus domesticus and 4 (2 g.) to Anser an
ser. The universality of the cult of Isis and its sacrificial rituals
are discussed.
