Abstract
The influence of uranyl sulfate concentration (0.5-50.0 mol%), tempera ture (600-800 degrees C), deposition potential (-0.3 to -1.0 V), and c omposition of gaseous mixture over the melt on the chemical and phase composition of uranium oxides prepared by electrolysis of UO2SO4 solut ions in M(2)SO(4) eutectic melts (M = Li, Na, K) has been studied by X -ray diffraction analysis. The mixture of uranium oxides or individual oxides with UO2, U4O9, and U3O8 Structures are formed on the cathode surface, depending on electrodeposition conditions.
