Abstract
Parity nonconserving and time reversal violating matrix elements betwe en parity doublers occurring in nuclei that possess intrinsic octupole deformations are studied. In some cases the mixing coefficients rum o ut to be large due to the near degeneracy of the doublers and in the c ase of time reversal violation also due to the enhancement in the symm etry violating matrix elements.
