Mr. Gaudoin et al., IS THE INCIDENCE OF OVARIAN ECTOPIC PREGNANCY INCREASING, European journal of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive biology, 70(2), 1996, pp. 141-143
Although tubal pregnancy is increasing, ovarian ectopic pregnancy has
remained a rare event. However, North American reports suggest an incr
easing incidence relative to both tubal and term pregnancies. We repor
t an unexpected increase in our practice with five primary ovarian pre
gnancies over the past year. Current understanding of the aetiological
factors, pathogenesis and implications for management are outlined. C
