Abstract
We show that vertex floodlights of angle pi suffice to illuminate any polygon, and that no angle less than pi suffices for all polygons. A v ertex floodlight of angle alpha is an internal cone of light of apertu re no more than alpha with apex at a vertex. No vertex may have more t han one floodlight.
