D. Ravichandran et al., PHASE-STABILITY OF REBA(2)CU(4)O(8) [RE=Y, DY, SM] CERAMICS, Transactions of the Indian Institute of Metals, 48(3), 1995, pp. 163-166
Rare-earth substitution in REBa(2)Cu(4)O(8) [RE = Y, Dy, Sm] has led t
o a series of superconducting compounds. We have attempted to study th
e phase stability of these ceramics. Among these ceramics Dy substitut
ed 124 is found-to be least stable. The percentage of Orthorhombicity
decreases with increase in the ionic radius of the ion.
