Abstract
Oxygen desorption from different crystallographic sites of Bi-2212 sup erconductor, affects the phase stability of the compound. In this work , we try to investigate the relation between doping in Cu-site and the phase stability in Bi-2212 superconducting compound. The samples with nominal composition Bi:Sr:Ca:Cu:M = 2:2:1:1.95:0.02 (M=Ni,Fe,Zn) were prepared by mixing, calcining, grinding, pelletising, and finally sin tered at 850 degrees C. The samples were characterised by T-c, XRD, TG A & DSC and the results are reported.
