Abstract
The Gelfand-Zetlin basis for representations of U-q(sl(N)) is improved to better fit the case when q is a root of unity. The usual q-deforme d representations, as well as the nilpotent, periodic (cyclic), semi-p eriodic (semi-cyclic) and also some atypical representations are now d escribed with the same formalism.
