Abstract
An evolutionary strategy is used for spectra evaluation. The general f orm and the form developed for the program SPEKTRUM are presented here . The comparison with conventional methods shows a clear advantage of this new method. As an example a wavelength dispersive measured NiK al pha-spectrum is used for comparison. Model functions contained in the program are summarized in the appendix.
