Abstract
Four new metabolites, neovasipyrones A and B and neovasifuranones A an d B, were isolated from the phytopathogenic fungus Neocosmospora vasin fecta NHL2298, and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic m ethods. The absolute stereochemistry of the neovasipyrones was establi shed by X-ray analysis and chemical reactions.
