Abstract
The acetone extract of the dried root bark of Tripterigium wilfordii a fforded a novel abietane diterpenoid, wilforol E, while the methanol e xtract of the dried heartwood of the root afforded another novel abiet ane diterpenoid, wilforol F. Their structures were established on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic studies.
