Abstract
A new acylated anthocyanin was isolated from deep pink flowers of Verb ena hybrida cv 'Tropic' as a minor anthocyanin and identified as pelar gonidin ta-D-glucoside-5-O-(6-O-(acetyl)-beta-D-glucoside) with chroma tographic and spectral methods.
