The potentiometric behaviour of polypyrrole films doped with hexacyano
ferrate(II) has been studied. The films were polymerized by the use of
either continuous scanning cyclic voltammetry or anodic linear sweep
voltammetry or the potentiostatic method. The potentiometric response
was a function of the monomer concentration and the way of conditionin
g of the films. Both anionic and (more frequently) cationic sensitivit
ies were observed.
