The total synthesis of regioisomeric ac-1,2-dipalmitoylglycerophospho)
-4(6)-O-(2-amino- 2-deoxy-beta-D-glucopyranosyl)-sn-myo-inositol and r
ac-1,2-dipalmitoylglycerophospho)-sn-myo-inositol is described. The sy
nthetic route included stages of consecutive selective protecting-depr
otecting of the hydroxyl groups of the inositol ring, the aminoglycosy
lation by the oxazoline method, and formation of phosphodiesters of su
bstituted myo-inositol derivatives using two modes of the hydrogen-pho
sphonate method.
