Abstract
A hybrid technique has been developed for determination of the moistur e content of hydrophobic solvents. The technique includes distillation of a portion of solvent and analysis of water-containing liquid conde nsate by indicator paper. Moisture content is determined from the area of a colored spot, The sensitivity of the technique is about 0.001%. The error does not exceed 20%. A simple experimental setup is describe d.
