Wa. Guo et Zr. Yang, PHASE-TRANSITION IN A NONEQUILIBRIUM POTTS-MODEL WITH COMPETING DYNAMICS - A MONTE-CARLO STUDY, Acta physica Sinica, 6(1), 1997, pp. 35-39
The nonequilibrium steady state of three-state Potts model evolving un
der combined Glauber dynamics at temperature beta(-1) and Kawasaki dyn
amics at beta' = 0 is studied by Monte-Carlo simulations. As the excha
nge rate p increases, the phase transition changes from second to firs
t order. The critical exponents of second-order transition are indepen
dent of p, and the critical properties for different p belong to the s
ame universality class.
