Abstract
A simple model is proposed that describes the kinetics of a dust mediu m and reproduces some observed nonequilibrium processes that lead to t he formation of planetary rings, galaxies, and large-scale fold-type s tructures in space. The stable formation of typical galactic structure s is attributed to their relaxation to stationary dissipative attracto rs.
