Abstract
A case report is presented of a 20-year-old man, who had posttraumatic choroidal rupture and thick submacular haemorrhage. The haemorrhage w as successfully removed with vitrectomy and intraoperative fibrinolysi s with subretinal tissue plasminogen activator. Six months postoperati vely the visual acuity was 0.7 (6/9).
