Abstract
This paper highlights the research projects on building energy conserv ation studies conducted by the authors recently. These projects were a ll sponsored by the Energy Commission of Taiwan in an effort to promot e research activities on building energy conservation and to obtain da tabase specifically for the Taiwan area, so that appropriate energy-re lated policies can be made on a sound basis. The on-going projects and perspectives are also discussed in this paper.
