Abstract
In Bordeaux, France, measurements of volumetric soil unit were carried out through the use of a neutron in a experiment that aims to evaluat e Semillon grapevine plants hydric consumptions, grafted on Fercal. Pl ants in two soil types (clayish and sandy) and on two trellis-training systems (traditionel France system and open lyre) were studied. The p hysico-chemical soil type characteristics influenced upon plants regul arity in hydric consumption during ripening. Differences in leaf surfa ce area among trellis system were responsible for differences in hydri c consumption at the end of growing season.
