Abstract
AgCl reacts with Ph(2)PSiMe(3) in the presence of tertiary Phosphines (P(2)Bu(2)(1)Bu, PMe(n)Pr(2), (PPr3)-Pr-n and PEt(3)) to form the mult inuclear complexes [Ag-3(PPh(2))(3)((PBU2BU)-B-n-B-t)(3)] 1, [Ag-4(PPh (2))(4)(PR(3))(4)] (PR(3) = PMe(n)Pr(2) 2, (PPr3)-Pr-n 3) and [Ag-4(PP h(2))(4)(PEt(3))(4)](n) 4. In analogy to that ZnCl2 reacts with Ph(2)P SiMe(3) and PRR(2)' to form the multinuclear complexes [Zn-4(PPh(2))(4 )Cl-4(PRR(2)')(2)] (PRR(2)' = PMe(n)Pr(2) 5, P(n)Bus 6, PEt(2)Ph 7). F urther it was possible to obtain the compounds [Zn-4(PhPSiMe(3))(4)Cl- 4(C4H8O)(2)] 8 and [Zn-4(P(1)Bu(2))(4)Cl-4 9 by reaction of ZnCl2 with PhP(SiMe(3))(2) and (1)Bu(2)PSiMe(3), respectively.
