Abstract
A method for the measurement of a minute activity of a short-lived nuc lide embedded in longer-lived higher activity matrix was developed. Th e method is based on the findings that the ratio of the activities of two gamma lines is independent of the dead-time. Another method of mat hematical correction was also checked and found to be quite accurate.
