Advection and diffusion of particles past an impenetrable strip is con
sidered when the strip is oblique to the advection or drift velocity.
The particle concentration p(x, y) is determined asymptotically for la
rge values of vL/D, where v is the drift velocity, D is the diffusion
coefficient, and 2L is the width of the strip. The results complement
those of Part I, which treated a strip normal to die drift velocity. (
