The hyperfine structure of highly charged lithiumlike ions is consider
ed within QED using the 1/Z perturbation theory (Z is the nuclear char
ge). The interelectronic interaction contribution of the order of 1/Z
to the hyperfine splitting of the ground state is calculated in the ra
nge Z = 5-100. The hyperfine splitting values are found for the ground
state of Fe-57(23+) and Bi-209(80+).
