Abstract
The temperature dependencies of photocurrent and darkcurrent are studi ed in the temperature range of the commensurate and incommensurate pha ses in layered semiconductor T1InS(2). It is shown that the successive thermocyclings between the commensurate and incommensurate phases lea d to remarkable changes in both the temperature dependent photocurrent and pyrocurrent due to the change in the density of discommensuration s The results are explained in the framework of the model in which the incommensurate state and the commensurate state with discommensuratio ns are considered to be as a disordered-like system influencing the ca rrier transport mechanism.
