Abstract
A component of the strongly bias-dependent potential in the far-infrar ed laser-induced photoeffect produced in silicon and germanium homojun ctions is reported. A model of laser-heated hot-carrier internal photo emission is presented. The model predictions are compared to experimen tal results, showing good agreement.
