ARTHROSCOPIC EVALUATION AND TREATMENT OF SHOULDER INSTABILITY

Arthroscopy of the shoulder has enhanced our understanding of normal a nd pathologic anatomy with regards to shoulder instability. With this new knowledge, arthroscopic treatment of shoulder instability is now p ossible. In this article, the authors review the clinical findings, no rmal and pathologic anatomy, and the current arthroscopic surgical tec hniques for treating anterior shoulder instability.
