OPTICAL METHODS OF MONITORING THE ACCURACY OF COORDINATE DEVICES

An analysis is given of two methods of monitoring the accuracy of coor dinate measurement facilities that could be an alternative to the moni toring methods currently used. Problems associated with the use of opt ical methods are considered, and it is shown that such methods have ce rtain advantages over other methods.
