Abstract
In the course of a psychoanalytic treatment primal scene phantasies ar e integrated within the analytic process and gain the signification of transference. The relevant experience of the analysand is characteriz ed by feelings of exclusion and aloneness. Primal scene phantasies are regularly connected with a constellation within the analytic relation ship which is suitable for provoking an experience of feeling left out and excluded. It is a well-known phenomenon that patients with primal scene experience tend to act out primal scene phantasies. Within the analytic relationship this may have also the function to put the devel oping capabilities of being alone to the test. Social structures may f oster certain character traits by the ideologic favoured way of dealin g with the primal scene.
