Distal innominate artery injury secondary to blunt trauma had not prev iously been reported, We present a case of distal innominate artery tr ansection associated with a cervical spine dislocation, A mechanism fo r this unusual vascular injury is proposed. An organized diagnostic an d treatment plan is emphasized.
