Abstract
The synthesis of three new unsymmetrical tetrathiafulvalenes (TTFs), a ll fused with dihydrooxathiino rings, is described. The new donors all showed two reversible cyclic voltammetric halfwaves at values lower o r similar to the value of bis(ethylenedithio)-TTF. The dimethyl deriva tive DMOX-TTF, 5, gave well formed radical cation salts of close to 2: 1 stoichiometry with several anions.
