Abstract
Differences in catches of Hylobius abietis (L.) adults in baited pitfa ll traps with chemical (alpha-pinene, ethanol, water) and natural (spr uce billets, water) lures were found not in the over-all number of tra pped adult weevils, but in the per cent occurrence and number of old a nd young beetles in individual periods of the season.
