GROWTH-RATE DISPERSION OF SMALL KDP CRYSTALS

This Letter deals with the growth rate dispersion of small KDP crystal s grown from aqueous solution. It was shown that the distribution of g rowth rates has two maxima, in contrast to previously studied growth r ate dispersions, which were described by distributions with one maximu m. The dislocation structure of individual crystals and the varying de grees of strain in the crystal lattice were considered as possible cau ses of this phenomenon.
