Jv. Mulloy et al., COMPUTER-BASED PATIENT ENCOUNTER TRACKING - DEVELOPMENT OF A SYSTEM FOR FAMILY MEDICINE RESIDENTS, Canadian family physician, 41, 1995, pp. 1742
Tracking residents' experiments in clinical settings is difficult. We
describe a computerized tracking program that tan be used to catalogue
and evaluate clinical experience. Using the program, learners tan eva
luate and validate their experiences, and educators tan identify setti
ng and preceptor strengths and weaknesses. The program is adaptable to
other settings, inexpensive, and easy to use.
