Abstract
The object of the following study is a veterinary expert opinion about a Ilama mare. This animal was subjected to a rectal palpation for pre gnancy diagnosis during which the rectum was performed. General guide lines for rectal palpation as well as special characteristics in Ilama s described in the literature are dicussed.
