Abstract
The efficient second harmonic of a pulsed CO2-laser radiation with the pulse repetition rate up to 300 Hz was implemented in ZnGeP2 and AgGa Se2 single crystals. Comparison of ZnGeP2 and AgGaSe2 as materials for the generation of the second harmonic of CO2-laser radiation was perf ormed. The efficiency of second-harmonic generation in ZnGeP2 was show n to be constant up to the repetition rate of 300 Hz.
