We report two different aspects of Q Fever pneumonia in two patients c
oming back from the same guided tour in Crete. The first patient prese
nted with an influenzae-like syndrome associated with an interstitial
pneumonia. The second patient presented with acute lobar pneumonia and
hepatitic cytolysis. Mild thrombocytopenia was observed in both patie
nts. Diagnosis was confirmed by evidence of seroconversion for Coxiell
a burnetii. Recovery was observed after treatment including fluoroquin
olones.
