Abstract
Reaction of face-centred cubic Na3C60 with ammonia at room temperature affords body-centred cubic (NH3)(6)Na3C60 in which both octahedral an d tetrahedral interstices in the fulleride array are occupied: despite the similarity in C-60(3-) packing to Cs3C60, no superconductivity is observed above 6 K.
