Abstract
The complex Ginzburg-Landau equation corresponding to subcritical bifu rcation is derived from a Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert equation of motion o f the magnetization in a one-dimensional uniaxial ferromagnet. The val idity of this approximation is tested by a numerical simulation.
